You: My knee is puffy and tight today. Can you take the knee work out of today's session?
Your coach: I switched today to the knee-friendly version: knee-loading moves come out and the rest of you still trains. If it is hot, red or suddenly swollen, call your surgeon today.

The problem

Generic routines ignore your surgical constraints

01

They violate your joint precautions

Standard workouts do not know you need your elbows below your shoulder or a strict neutral spine. They program movements that ignore the specific restrictions your surgeon set.

02

They push through the swelling

Fitness templates tell you to work harder when you feel tired. They do not monitor your surgical site for the swelling or pain that must dictate your real pace.

03

They leave your healthy side behind

While you focus entirely on your operated joint, the rest of your body loses conditioning. Standard plans miss the cross-education work that keeps your healthy side strong while you heal.

The method

How your coach programs your comeback

01

Movement before weight

Sessions stay light, with bands, bodyweight and light dumbbells; the notes say to add a rep or the smallest load only after two green gates in a week.

RuleTwo green gates in one week earn a rep, then light load.

02

Built-in swelling gates

Before every session, a check asks about pain, swelling, infection signs and your written clearance. Pain or new swelling cuts the session's sets; a red flag stops it.

RuleNew swelling or pain above two cuts that session's sets.

03

Tissue repair nutrition

Your nutrition plan sets a daily protein target scaled to your bodyweight, split evenly to support muscle maintenance.

RuleFour meals a day, each with protein, spread from breakfast to dinner.

04

Three focused sessions

The week holds three manageable sessions, with range, pool, bike and walking work on the days between.

RuleThree sessions of up to 40 minutes fit your fatigue levels.

Your week

A typical week

Ask your coach in chat to move a session around clinic visits; a poor night or high fatigue lightens your next session.

Built to adapt

A plan that moves when your week does.

It reads your recovery

Connect Apple Health or Health Connect. When sleep, HRV or resting heart rate say you are under-recovered, today's session gets lighter. Planned deloads follow your coach's schedule, and you can ask for one in chat.

Chat that changes the plan

Travelling, sore, short on time, missed a meal: tell your coach at any hour. It rebuilds the week or re-portions the day, and confirms the change in chat.

Check-ins it acts on

Daily check-ins and progress photos go to your coach, and your plan is adjusted from what actually happened, not what was scheduled.

Is it for you

Who this coach is built for.

Built for

  • Discharged from physical therapy and needing a structured plan for the next six months
  • Hip or knee replacement clients working toward stairs, hills and uneven ground
  • Rotator-cuff or spine-surgery clients who need every movement scaled to their surgeon's precautions

Pick another coach if

  • Anyone without written clearance from their surgeon for the next phase of loading
  • Non-orthopaedic surgery recovery or anyone experiencing fever, wound redness, or sudden calf pain

How this coach works

What Post-Surgery Comeback Coach does, and what it leaves to your clinician.

  • Your plan comes from Post-Surgery Comeback Coach's written programme — the week, how load goes up, when it backs off and how it feeds you, as shown above — matched to your intake: goals, schedule, equipment, injuries and the health details you share.
  • It is an AI fitness coach, not a clinician. It does not diagnose, treat or change medication, and it works inside the limits your clinician sets.
  • When your wearable shows low recovery, today's session gets lighter. Planned deloads follow the programme's schedule, and you can ask for one in chat at any time.
  • The programme was written for this coach and is checked by automated rules. No clinician has reviewed it, and none of the organisations below has reviewed or endorsed Agents4 Fitness.

Your surgeon and physiotherapist set your restrictions and timeline. Your coach follows them and does not replace your rehab.

Questions

Straight answers.

Something else? Ask your coach in chat once you are in. It answers at any hour.

Do I need a full gym for this plan?

A band, a light dumbbell, a sturdy box or chair, a low step and a dowel cover most sessions; a stationary bike or pool helps on rest days. If something is missing, ask your coach in chat to swap the exercise.

What happens if I miss a session due to fatigue?

Tell your coach in the chat. It will adjust your schedule, shift the workout to another day, or program a lighter session based on your Apple Health sleep and resting heart rate data.

Does this replace my physical therapist?

No. This coach is built for the period after your physical therapist discharges you. Every session starts by asking whether your surgeon has cleared, in writing, the phase it belongs to, and stops if not.

How does the coach know my specific joint restrictions?

Each exercise cue already carries the rules for knee, hip, shoulder and spine surgeries, such as hip precautions or neutral spine only. Tell your coach your surgery and cleared phase in chat so it can swap anything that does not fit.

Will the workouts take too much time?

The plan programs three sessions a week that take up to 40 minutes each. This fits into your day while respecting the fatigue that comes with healing.

What do I get for free?

Your account is free — browse coaches, explore the app, and connect with a coach. Each AI coach is a monthly subscription (priced by coach); cancel anytime in a tap.

Is this a real coach or an AI?

It's an AI coach built on a real training methodology for this exact niche. It writes your plans, adjusts them from your check-ins and progress, and answers questions any time — no waiting for office hours.

What if it doesn't fit my situation?

Your plan is built from YOUR intake — goals, schedule, equipment, injuries, preferences. If something doesn't fit, tell your coach in chat and it adjusts. And you can cancel any subscription anytime.

What happens to my data?

Your data stays yours. We never sell it, and you can export or delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
