# How our coaches are built

Every Agents4 coach is an AI fitness coach that runs a written programme for one audience. This page explains where that programme comes from, how your plan is made from it, what the AI does day to day, the limits it works within, and who has — and has not — checked it.

## Where a coach's programme comes from

Each of the 115 coaches is defined in the platform's own code as a written programme: who it is for and who should pick something else, a weekly training split, how load goes up, when it backs off, what it watches, protein and meal structure, a calorie floor, and the exercises it leaves out for particular situations.

The programmes were written by the Agents4 team with AI assistance and then revised in review passes in which AI models were asked to work as specialists in each field. Those were AI reviews, not reviews by human experts. Coaches carry an Agents4 house name; there is no named human trainer behind any of them.

Automated checks run over every programme before it ships: calorie and protein floors, macro arithmetic, banned claim words, and a build gate that fails on any of them.

## How your plan is made

- You answer a short intake: your goal, experience, how many days you can train, your equipment, injuries and the health details you choose to share.
- Code — not a model's guess — matches those answers to the client types the programme was written for, with a points score.
- Your first week and menu come from the coach's seven-day programme and authored menu. Later rebuilds use the same plan builders, which are ordinary code that applies the programme's rules.

## What the AI does day to day

- Chat runs on Google's Gemini models on Vertex AI. It answers at any hour and changes the actual plan through plan-editing tools — swapping an exercise, rebuilding a week, re-portioning a day — and reports a change only after the tool confirms it was saved.
- With Apple Health or Health Connect connected, a low-recovery reading (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep) makes that day's session lighter: less volume, or a walk and mobility work instead. Old wearable data is ignored.
- Planned deloads follow the programme's schedule, and you can ask for one in chat. A run of low-recovery days does not, on its own, schedule a deload week for these coaches.
- Some programmes name extra signals, such as a drop in grip strength. Those guide what the coach suggests when you report them; they are not measured automatically.

## Safety limits

- **Not medical advice.** A coach does not diagnose, treat or interpret test results, and it does not change medication. Plan lines that touch a medication are rewritten to say: do not change the dose or timing; coordinate with your prescribing clinician.
- **Your clinician's limits come first.** Coaches for health conditions — GLP-1 medication, pregnancy and postpartum, PCOS, menopause, diabetes, recovery after surgery and more — are built to work alongside your clinician, not instead of them. Each of their pages carries a "How this coach works" section with the boundary it keeps and public guidance you can read.
- **Check-ins before a session.** Many coaches — the pregnancy coach among them — ask a few short questions before you train. A borderline answer turns the day into recovery work or a lighter dose, and a red-flag answer stops the session and points you to your care team.
- **Exercises ruled out.** Most programmes remove exercises that do not suit a situation from every week they write — the GLP-1 coach, for example, writes no burpees, box jumps, sprints or HIIT.
- **Calorie floors.** A nutrition plan does not go below its programme's floor.
- **Clearance is yours to get.** The app asks you to confirm you have medical clearance where it matters; it cannot verify it.
- **Red flags.** Chest pain, fainting, severe breathlessness, bleeding in pregnancy or signs of very low or high blood sugar mean stop and get medical help. A coach is not an emergency service.

## How the coach pages are written

The coach pages on this site are drafted with an AI model and must pass automated gates before they ship: every number has to exist in the coach's stored programme; no hype words; no results, testimonials or ratings; no claims about what training does to hormones, metabolism or bone density; no medication names; and no promise that anything is "safe". Pages that fail are rewritten or not published.

## What Agents4 does not claim

- No human trainer or clinician reviews the plans members receive.
- No study has tested Agents4 coaches, and the site shows no ratings or reviews, because there are no real ones to show.
- The sources listed on coach pages and guides are independent public guidelines. Listing them is not an endorsement by those organisations.

## Who has reviewed this

No clinician or credentialed expert has reviewed the coaches or this page. If that changes, the reviewer will be named here with their credentials.
