# Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Agents4 Fitness

Coaches on the Architect plan can run their coaching from ChatGPT or Claude. Add Agents4 Fitness as a custom connector with the server URL below, then sign in with the same username and password you use in the Agents4 Fitness app and approve the connection.

## What you need

- An Agents4 Fitness coach account on the **Architect** plan ($199/mo or $1,990/yr). The free pilot, Solo and Studio do not include connecting an AI app. To upgrade, open the app and go to More → Connect ChatGPT & Claude → Upgrade to Architect.
- Your Agents4 Fitness username and password, the ones you sign in to the app with.
- ChatGPT or Claude on a plan that lets you add custom connectors.

## The server URL

`https://api.agents4.com/mcp/http`

The app shows the same URL with a Copy button under More → Connect ChatGPT & Claude.

## Connect Claude

1. In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Name it Agents4 Fitness and paste the server URL. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.
3. Select Connect. The Agents4 Fitness sign-in page opens: sign in with your username and password.
4. Approve the connection. In a chat, turn on Agents4 Fitness from the tools menu.

## Connect ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
2. Back in Apps & Connectors, select Create, name it Agents4 Fitness and paste the server URL.
3. Choose OAuth as the authentication, confirm you trust the app and select Create.
4. The Agents4 Fitness sign-in page opens: sign in with your username and password, then approve. In a chat, add Agents4 Fitness from the + menu.

## Signing in and approving

- The sign-in page is on [app.agents4fitness.com](https://app.agents4fitness.com). Check the address before you type your password.
- Sign in with your coach account. If you use a client account, the page asks you to switch.
- On the approval screen you choose whether the AI app may make changes (build and update agents, change client plans) or only read.

## Things to ask first

- "How did my clients do this week? Who should I check on?"
- "Here's my 12-week program (PDF). Build my coaching agent from it exactly as written."
- "Swap Tuesday's lunges for Bulgarian split squats for everyone on my hypertrophy program."

## Trouble connecting?

- **"An active Architect plan or MCP subscription is required."** Your account is not on Architect yet. Upgrade in the app, then start the connection again from ChatGPT or Claude.
- **"This is a client account."** Select Switch account and sign in with your coach username and password.
- **"This connection request expired."** The sign-in page is valid for 10 minutes. Start again from your AI app.
- **Forgot your password?** Select Forgot password on the sign-in page. Changing your password disconnects your AI apps, so connect them again afterwards.
- **Asked to sign in again?** A connection lasts 30 days, and ends sooner if your Architect plan ends. Sign in again the same way.

## Disconnect an app

In the Agents4 Fitness app, open More → Connect ChatGPT & Claude and select Disconnect next to the app. It loses access straight away.

## Using Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code?

Code editors connect with an API key instead of a sign-in. In the app, open More → Connect ChatGPT & Claude → Generate API Key and paste the configuration it shows.

ChatGPT and Claude rename their settings menus from time to time; if a name differs, look for custom connectors. Agents4 Fitness is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic.
